Get your friends and family active and enjoy a leisurely ride around Rockhampton while supporting charity.
Our original event ambassador and 2019 event ambassador Glen Chadwick will also be riding along with you.
With three distance options, this event provides something for all cycling abilities. Test your friends at the end for the last 2kms and be in the running to win the prize! Once you finish, enjoy a buffet breakfast on Huish Drive along with music and presentations.

Road 2 Rocky routes
Riders all leave in one bunch behind an escort vehicle, neutral to Alton Downs Road after which each distance group will separate to turn off to their respective routes.
Road 2 Rocky 30
A recreational ride suitable for most cyclists- it is an out & back course starting from Huish Drive, Wandal. Only 63 metres elevation over the 30km. The turn around point is at the Y junction of Nine Mile Rd / Alton Downs Nine Mile Rd and Malci Nine Mile Rd. There will be SES volunteer here, water and First Aid. On your return route, test out your speed over a 2km Time Trial. Trophy and bragging rights on offer!
Road 2 Rocky 60
57 kms with option to turn around anytime.
Following the same route as the 30km's, continue riding till you arrive at the SES marquee just past the overpass at Gracemere. this scenic route is relatively flat - just 132 metres elevation. A shorter option is available if your legs are hurting from the previous days Challenge The Mountain! Includes a 2km Time Trial at the 46km (approx) mark for bragging rights and a trophy if you have a competitive edge.
Road 2 Rocky 100
Approx 100 km
Challenge yourself and complete the 100km ride through picturesque Paradise lagoons and surrounding farming properties. At the 87km mark, this ride offers a 2km time trial to test your fitness level. A trophy for the fastest time of the three distances. A total of 438 metres elevation.

This is an open-road ride where entrants must adhere to the road rules https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/rules/wheeled-devices/bicycle at all times. Interactions with other road users including heavy vehicles are likely.
Riders with limited experience of riding on open roads must be accompanied by a person of suitable experience.
