    Continue your fitness and enjoyment of our beautiful Mt Archer! Set a goal to achieve your PB up Pilbeam Drive. Grab your workmates, friends and everyone you can to walk, run or cycle to the summit. While you're there, check out the viewing platform and enjoy a BBQ.

  • Covid-19 has prevented us from preparing & delivering the event to the standard you have grown to expect so ...This year Challenge The Mountain is going digital!

    All you need to do is ....

    • Register by clicking here -  Register
    • Download the Strava App and join your Strava Club and CTM event - Runners    Cyclists 
    • Once you join the club, then join our event -  Challenge The Mountain 2020
    • Walk, run or cycle the course as many times as you like, between Friday 14 August and 9:00am Saturday 29 August. 

    Winners will be announced at a Challenge Barbeque, 12 noon Saturday 29 August at the Rocky Sports Club. The cost of $20 includes entry and barbie lunch. Non-competitors are welcome to join you for lunch - adults $10, kids U12 free. It will be a great family event with free jumping castles for the kids.

    Everyone enters in the same category so all are eligible for prizes. Age divisions are different THIS YEAR ONLY

    As this years event is restricted in so many ways and honesty- based, to avoid conflicts, the prize money is reduced to

    Third $20 per Runner/ cyclist/ male/ female

    and will be a gift certificate from Intersport.

  • Covid 19

    Under Stage 3 of the easing of restrictions, it is important to remember that we all must comply with Covid-safe instructions

    Approved Industry Plans restrict access to anyone who has:

    • COVID-19 or has been in direct contact with a known case of Covid-19 within the last 14 days
    • Flu-like symptoms or who is a high health risk (e.g. due to age or pre-existing conditions)
    • Travelled internationally
    • Travelled to a Covid declared hotspot.

    In line with the above, any person who has visited affected locations identified by Queensland Health should not attend organised sport, active recreation or fitness activities until further information on the situation comes to hand.
